The Strengths Quotient Institute (SQI) decided to  support Bio-Labone Scientific Group's (BLSG) effort to set up a mask manufacturing facility in Singapore

We wanted to build a facility that would meet the most stringent requirements, with 100k cleanroom standards and adhere to all the necessary safety requirements, with materials sourced from reliable and reputable suppliers.  That is our goal.

We targetted that the facility will be in full production swing by 1 July 2020. 

The Strengths Quotient Institute (SQI) has been tracking the sequence of events relating to COVID-19 since January 2020. We recognise that there are several gaps present that includes our dependency on essential items such as surgical masks which we are attempting to mitigate.

SQI supporting Bio-Labone Scientific Group's (BLSG) effort to set up a mask manufacturing facility because we agree with the intention for Singapore to be self-sufficient, especially with critical supplies. We anticipate several critical events in the coming months what will create a surge in demand for surgical masks and are working with BLSG to minimise the impact.
